NoteLake Orange is located several miles east of the town of Orange. The property was purchased in 1964. The 124 acre lake was built in 1967 and provides good angling and waterfowl hunting opportunities. Waterfowl hunting is managed through VDGIF’s Quota Hunt system as Waterfowl Hunting Series #105. Only a segment of Lake Orange is actually open to waterfowl hunting, confined to an area from the point of the peninsula east of the boat ramp to the eastern point of the dam and west to the shoreline.
