Phelps WMA consists of a diversity of habitat types including shallow water impoundments and beaver swamps, old fields, managed dove fields, crop fields, bottomland and upland hardwoods. This WMA Borders the Rappahannock River with approximately 5.5 miles of river frontage. The wide range of habitats provides for a diversity of good hunting, fishing and other wildlife-related opportunities. A handicapped hunting trail exists on a portion of this WMA. Call for details.
